My name is Caela Daly, I'm from Simsbury, Connecticut which is a small town with more farm land with cows then people. Im hard of hearing which causes me to wear hearing aids. I am really active in to learning deaf culture and love teaching people about it. I know American sign language and am trying to become an interpreter. My major is PR/advertising but i really want to go on to graduate school and become and audiologist. I also love traveling and have recently gone to Ireland and Brazil.
My feelings of this class is nervousness due to having to learn a lot of softwares that i am not as familiar with. I really do believe in that technology is changing and shaping how we see the world today so it is important to teach everyone as much as you can learn about it. Especially seeing how art has evolved from thousands of years ago on canvases to now where people can create masterpieces with just clicks on a computer. I believe that it is really fascinating to be able to watch this evolution of art and technology, so this is why I want to learn it.
I expect from this class is to have a basic knowledge of websites that will help me to create web designs.
